FREE Sensory Training for charities and support groups!
I try to support as many charities and parent groups as I can by offering free online Sensory Top Tips Training exclusively for their members.
I am currently supporting 10 charities and groups with training between January - May 2024. Please note that you are completing this form to request training between June and December 2024.
Please read before submitting your application:
- This application should only be completed by a Lead from your group that has the authority to sign up on the group's behalf.
- The Sensory Top Tips Training will be delivered online via Zoom.
- The training will be 2 hours (75 minutes of training plus 45 minutes for questions and discussion).
- If your application is chosen, you will be sent a Calendly link so that you can choose the next available date that suits your group. You will usually have the option of a day time or evening session. Sessions are usually on Tuesdays.
- There will space for 100 of your members to attend live and there will be unlimited places to book on the recorded option.
- The recorded option gives the person access to the recording for 48 hours only. The recording is only of the training and not the Question and Answer section so members should be encouraged to attend live when possible.
- This is Top Tips Training not in-depth sensory training (full sensory training would take at least half a day and usually a few days). Top Tips training is ideal for parents and carers who have not had sensory training before or for those wanting a refresher and some new inspiration.
- The training is ideal for parents and carers of children with autism, ADHD and sensory processing difficulties. If you are unsure of the suitability of the training for your group then please email me (Hanna Munro) to discuss.
- You are not allowed to charge for the training but you are welcome to ask your members for a small donation to your charity if they wish to do so.
- Hanna will provide the booking link for your members to register for the training. You should not advertise the training until you have had the go ahead and received the booking link.
- A key person from your group will need to attend the training to act as a 'co-host' to support Hanna admitting people into the Zoom room and alerting Hanna to questions etc.
