Hi, I'm Hanna
Consultant Occupational Therapist | Trainer | Supervisor | Speaker
I am a registered occupational therapist with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in sensory processing, regulation and neurodivergence. I’m the creator of Move Regulate Learn, my flagship training programme for schools.
My work focuses mainly on training, consultancy and professional supervision through my Sensory Academy. I support schools, professionals, parent groups and charities to better understand and respond to sensory experiences. I am passionate about sensory support that is neuroaffirming, practical, realistic and focused on participation in everyday day.
I combine my professional expertise with the compassion and understanding that comes from being a parent of children with Special Educational Needs and being autistic myself.
My availability for clinical one to one work is limited but I do offer a small number of sensory assessment and support packages for children and families.Â

My aim is to take ideas that can sometimes feel complicated and make them useful in the real world - whether that is helping a school rethink how they support regulation, supporting a therapy professional or SENCO through supervision, or working with an organisation to develop more inclusive practice.

MOVE REGULATE LEARN
Practical strategies to support regulation and participation in schools
Move Regulate Learn is my flagship training programme for schools. It combines key sensory and regulation theory with a strong focus on what staff can actually do: noticing what is getting in the way of participation, adjusting the task, environment or adult response, using movement and sensory strategies where helpful, and observing whether they genuinely make things easier for the child.
The approach is not about making children sit still, look calm or tolerate situations that are overwhelming for them. It is about helping school staff feel more confident in understanding what they are seeing and making thoughtful, practical changes.

I offer a limited number of places for my Sensory Success programme which combines a sensory assessment for your child with online training and my dedicated support for 6 months. With Sensory Success, you'll gain a clear understanding of your child's unique sensory needs and receive the necessary tools and support to implement recommended strategies both at home and at school.
