Hi, I'm Hanna
I am a registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience and postgraduate training in sensory processing and integration. Based in Ulverston, South Cumbria, I provide specialist sensory assessment and support for families who want to better understand their child’s sensory needs and discover practical strategies to help them thrive. Many of the children I work with are autistic and/or have ADHD.
Alongside my clinical work, I offer training and consultancy through my Sensory Academy, supporting parents, schools, professionals and neurodivergent people to better understand sensory experiences. My aim is to share knowledge, build confidence and empower people to recognise and respond to sensory needs.Â
I combine my professional expertise with the compassion and understanding that comes from being a parent of children with additional needs and being autistic myself.

Sensory Success combines a sensory assessment for your child with online training and my dedicated support for 6 months. With Sensory Success, you'll gain a clear understanding of your child's unique sensory needs and receive the necessary tools and support to implement recommended strategies both at home and at school.

TRAINING & CONSULTANCY
Sensory Academy is where I share my passion for helping people to understand sensory experiences and to build confidence. When we understand sensory needs, we can better support emotional regulation, learning, participation and everyday wellbeing.
I offer a range of courses including my licenced trainer programme, in-person and online training for schools, online training for parent carer groups, on-demand training for parents, supervision and consultancy for professionals and more.

The family were listened to, she has such a calming manner and used various ways to communicate with our grandson that put him at ease and he participated willingly and loved the activities.
