Move Regulate Learn is a practical training programme created by consultant occupational therapist Hanna Munro, drawing on over 20 years of experience working with children, families and schools.
It helps school staff understand regulation, sensory needs and what may be getting in the way of participation — with a strong focus on what they can actually do in everyday school life.
The approach combines key theory with practical strategies, including co-regulation, movement and sensory supports, and changes to the task or environment. The goal is not to make children look calm or compliant, but to help make participation easier.
