Free secondary school survival guide
May 15, 2026
I've been working with a family in my Sensory Success programme who have a child going to secondary school next year. I started putting together some tips for them and then I had the idea to produce a little guide which I'm gifting to you for free!
Children with autism, ADHD or DCD/dyspraxia commonly have difficulties with executive function. Executive function is a set of mental skills that include working memory, flexible thinking and self-control and when a person has difficulties with executive function it can cause difficulties with planning, organising, time management, focusing, follow directions, starting tasks and get them done and emotional regulation. If you have difficulties with executive function then secondary school can be a tricky environment to navigate!
Please click here for your free secondary school survival guide that is yours to keep. You are welcome to share it with your child's school.
My 'quick fix sensory strategy' training and guide is also ideal to support teenagers at school. I put a lot of work into it so there is a £12 charge and you can buy it here.
Hope it helps.
