Sleep Resources
Feb 23, 2025
Last week I met up with the fabulous Amanda Bland who is an experienced Sleep Practitioner and I realised that I've not talked to you about sleep for a while. Sleep is such an important topic. If a child isn't sleeping well then they don't have the necessary energy to manage their day. A lot of children I work with find school difficult so it is vital that they wake up having had a good night's sleep feeling fully recharged with all their 'spoons' back. I am not a sleep expert but I am aware of some key resources so I thought that today I'd give you the links in case you've not yet come across them.
For a general introduction to supporting your child's sleep watch my interview with Amanda Bland on my YouTube channel. Click here to watch it.
If you are really struggling with your child's sleep then consider contacting the free Sleep Charity Helpline on 03303 530 541. There is also lots of sleep advice on their website.
If you have older children or teens and haven't yet heard of the Teen Sleep Hub then check it out here. You can also download a free eBook for your teenager from the website.
If you are looking for bespoke sleep support then you can contact Amanda Bland here via her website. Her company is a not for profit organisation that does fantastic work in my local community but also nationally.
If you are having difficulties with your child's sleep then I truly hope that the resources help you and that they start sleeping better soon.
